okay so for anyone who isn't in our D-group here's the idea of the blog. Dan S was talking about how him and some people from Quest started a blog after Quest last year and committed to posting on it once every month about the what God has put on their heart and what He is doing in their lives. For example, Dan wrote a reflection one month on how he has been trying to find joy.
I thought it would be sweet to get a kick start on the blog because I think we all find it hard to touch base with 22 people on a daily basis on what God is doing in their lives. I thought it would be neat to post and update others on how we can be praying and how God is changing us day by day.
I hope it becomes something we can eventually commit to on a regular basis after Quest ends so we don't lose touch with people.
Though I am not a huge fan of being on the internet and it could be inconvenient for people, I hope we can all see the value in sharing what God is doing. It can be extremely encouraging and can keep our community going when we are apart.
